THERMAL AND VISUAL OBSERVATION · LUXEMBOURG
Help ground teams examine a sector and locate observations that need checking.

When a team needs to examine a large area or connect scattered observations, an aerial viewpoint can provide additional information. Power Drone offers thermal and visual observation missions planned in coordination with the people leading work on the ground.
We define sectors, reference points and the information to pass on with an identified operational contact. The aim is to help teams focus their checks and find the areas observed, taking account of the situation and actual mission conditions.
01 / 05
The starting point is a defined search area and the information already available on the ground. Priority boundaries, sectors already examined, known access points and earlier observations help plan data capture.
We agree with the lead which parts to observe and how to identify them. This gives ground and drone teams a shared framework. If priorities change, the designated contact helps align the mission with new information.
02 / 05
Thermal imagery reveals observable temperature differences. It may show a signature that deserves the team's attention, but the observation needs to be considered in its surroundings.
Visual images and sector references provide that context: location within the area, site layout and features that help find the observation. The two views complement each other when preparing checks. A thermal signature alone does not confirm the identity or circumstances of what has been observed.
The sector, conditions at the time of capture and surfaces that can actually be observed all inform planning. Priorities are defined around these practical factors.
THE TEAM BEHIND YOUR MISSION
An observation needs to be located, communicated and checked. We plan these exchanges with the mission lead so the information gathered supports work on the ground.

You speak directly with the people planning and carrying out the mission. They clarify areas, contacts and expected observations with your designated contact.
Our range of recent platforms lets us plan a setup for the sector and views required. Selection brings together thermal needs and relevant visual location references.
Our drone mission experience and close contact with manufacturers inform the choice of solutions. We focus on clear references and communication arrangements.
IN ACTION
03 / 05
Useful information must allow the correct area to be found. We plan reference points and ways to locate observations with your managers. Plans, maps or sector names already used by the team can provide a common starting point.
The ground recipient receives the information under the agreed arrangements and combines it with local knowledge. They can then organise a check and pass on information needed for the next stage. Visual and thermal observations support that decision.
04 / 05
The mission lead, ground contacts and assigned areas must be identified. We agree how to communicate during observation and what information is needed to avoid confusion between sectors.
Mobilisation depends on agreed arrangements and mission conditions. Visit procedures, information to communicate and any deliverables are defined around the stated need. Power Drone provides coordinated drone support alongside the managers present.
YOUR MISSION, STEP BY STEP
Send its location, proposed perimeter and available maps or reference points.
Explain the search objective, known observations and constraints reported by the teams.
Specify who leads the mission and who receives information so we can plan exchanges with our team.
Based in Luxembourg, Power Drone also assesses requests in France and Belgium according to their location and operational context.

YOUR QUESTIONS
Provide the location, proposed perimeter and observations already known. Maps, ground references and the mission lead's contact details help define sectors to examine.
Recipients and communication methods are agreed before the visit. We prepare shared reference points so the team can find the observed area and organise a ground check.
Describe the context, need and coordination lead. We confirm with that person whether we can provide support, the time slot and arrangements, according to available resources and mission conditions.
Describe the area, objective and coordination lead so we can define observations that will help the ground teams.
