The Osmo 360 II is a 360° camera designed to offer a versatile solution capable of capturing every moment with remarkable clarity.
Thanks to its 1-inch dual imaging and high-performance chip, this camera enables recording native videos in 8K/60 fps. Its Osmo ecosystem, coupled with a waterproof design and advanced AI features like Spotlight tracking, guarantees a fluid and professional creative experience.
The Osmo 360 II uses two square CMOS sensors of 1/1.1 inch, offering 360° HDR imaging. This configuration allows for recording native videos in 8K up to 60 fps, maintaining great clarity even during fast movements. The sensors feature an f/1.9 aperture, facilitating light management.
The 2.0 AI SuperNight technology reduces image noise and improves low-light performance. With a dynamic range reaching 14.5 stops, the camera preserves details in highlights and shadows. Color processing supports 10 bits and the D-Log M format for cinematic grading.
The device offers versatile modes, including panoramic video, Single Lens mode, and Single Lens with Video Boost. Users can alternate between lenses during recording in Single Lens mode without interruption, for resolutions up to 4K/60 fps. The Spotlight Follow mode allows for automatically framing a subject.
Stabilization is ensured by RockSteady 3.0 and HorizonSteady technologies. In panoramic video mode, the choice of stabilization is made during export via DJI Mimo or DJI Studio. In Single Lens mode, HorizonSteady is available for flat videos with a standard field of view up to 60 fps.
The camera integrates 105 GB of available storage, complemented by a microSD card slot (up to 1 TB). File transfer is performed via the DJI Mimo app, a card reader, or via USB-C connection in USB mode. Panoramic videos are saved in OSV format, while flat videos use the MP4 format (HEVC).
The workflow is optimized by NFC connection for fast transfer and the use of DJI Mimo for editing. The device also integrates four microphones for audio recording. One-tap editing generates polished videos, while the Spotlight Follow mode facilitates exporting flat videos in 4K/30 fps without tedious manual editing.
The Osmo 360 II possesses lenses with a replaceable ultra-hard optical film, ensuring scratch resistance. The device is waterproof up to 10 meters without accessories. For diving, using the Invisible Waterproof Case is recommended to reach 50 meters, while respecting a minimum assembly distance of 1 meter underwater.
The camera operates in a temperature range from -20 to 45 °C. Battery life reaches 100 minutes for panoramic video recording in 8K/30 fps, measured under laboratory conditions at 25 °C with Wi-Fi, gesture control, voice control, and assistant functions disabled. Real battery life may vary depending on local regulations and temperatures.
The device supports voice command in English and Mandarin as well as gesture control. It is recommended to use these features at close range in a quiet environment. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity ensure communication with the mobile app. The power of the Wi-Fi transmitter is limited in accordance with CE, SRRC, and MIC standards.
The livestream function is accessible via the DJI Mimo app in Single Lens mode. After a firmware update, the user can configure their streaming platform on a secure Wi-Fi network. It is imperative to have completed identity verification and accepted the terms of the chosen platform to begin streaming.
