Overview

The DJI D-RTK 3 relay station in the fixed deployment version is a specialized unit designed to optimize communication links within DJI Dock 3 infrastructures.

Functionality and Deployment

This station operates exclusively in relay mode for the DJI Dock 3. It is designed to be installed at high points, such as rooftops or structures, to bypass physical obstacles. Operation requires a clear line of sight between the Dock 3 and the relay, with a recommended distance of less than 1000 meters for optimal performance.

Power and Connectivity

The station utilizes Power over Ethernet (PoE) via the DJI Dock 3 port for distances under 100 meters. Beyond that, an external PoE injector (Type 4, >30 W) is required. An internal backup battery system keeps the unit operational temporarily during power failures. The design includes IP67 sealing once the Ethernet connector is installed.
