The SuperNight mode is intended for low-light capture, supporting resolutions up to 4K at 60 fps. Subject tracking keeps the target centered dynamically, though it is limited to horizontal shooting and incompatible with the macro lens. The Slow Motion mode offers options up to 8x in 1 080p.

The 1 950 mAh battery life is rated for up to 240 minutes, measured under laboratory conditions at 25 °C with a specific configuration including 1 080p/24 fps, RockSteady on, Wi-Fi, gesture control, and voice commands off, with screens off. Actual battery life may vary based on feature usage and local temperature regulations.
The Osmo Action 6 features 50 GB of usable internal storage, expandable via microSD. Using high-performance modes like 4K/120 fps or SuperNight consumes more power and may cause temperature rise. The device uses thermal management designed for extended recording sessions, accounting for the impact of the environment on actual runtime.
Waterproofing and Aquatic Use
The device is natively waterproof up to 20 meters. For diving, ensure the battery compartment and USB-C port are properly sealed and the lens guard is tightened.
